Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

I will definitely be making these again! I made some with puff pastry and some without. Both were great but depending on how many other pastry type items you would be serving, the naked ones (without the pastry) would be my pick. Plus that way they are gluten free which is nice if you’re feeding a crowd as in experience there is always at least one person that doesn’t eat gluten.

This one doesn’t really require a recipe, all you do is wrap prosciutto around the trimmed down asparagus and bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 10 – 15 minutes. The prosciutto will look a little brown and caramelized when it’s ready. If you want to jazz it up with some puff pastry just roll some out, cut it into strips and wrap around the asparagus and prosciutto in a spiral. This version might take a little longer in the oven, the pastry will puff up and get golden.
